The University of Arts of Tirana is a Public Higher Education Institution with an artistic, academic and scientific profile. UART is a juridical person, public and laic. (Decree No. 234 of ACM, 23.03.2011) The University of Arts offers Higher Education Studies in Music; Fine Arts and Stage Arts. The overall number of students studying in the University of Arts is around 1000. Its mission is: To offer high professional education and creative activities in the field arts and culture; To progressively enhance the level of the high specialists of arts and culture with professional and scientific expertise; To facilitate the realization of research and scientific studies focusing processes of the development and progress of arts and culture.

    Regular Activities of the Institution
  • Participation in International Regional Theatre Festivals in: Ulqin and Tuz Montenegro; Podujeve and Gjilan Kosovo; Debar and Skopje Northern Macedonia; “Skampa” Elbasan, “Butrint”, “Apollon” Albania.
  • Students Regular Theatre season of the University of Arts. This season includes the performances of Acting and Choreography classes of Bachelor and Master Students within the academic year. Opened to the public. Various performances in the country’s theatres.
